Technical Project Manger
Web Software Developer

Title: Technical Project Manager
This person will work with software development, systems integration and quality assurance teams to establish and track product delivery schedules. Projects include full lifecycle management from requirements to customer delivery. Ensuring timely development, testing, and availability of products is the primary focus of this position. Position requires daily interaction and coordination across multiple technical units. Software development experience in a structured environment is highly desired. Familiarity with application and development lifecycle management solutions such as Seapine and TestTrack, MS Office Tools (e.g MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Linux operating systems, and Object Oriented coding also desired.
Education, Experience and skills:

Minimum Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or related field
|
|
 |
Minimum 4 years experience in software project management
|
|
 |
Extensive professional experience managing projects utilizing PERL, Object-oriented Perl, XHTML, and JavaScript client-side scripting, MySQL or equivalent
|
|
 |
Familiarity with revision control software
|
|
 |
Excellent communication skills
|
|
 |
Ability to manage and coordinate work flow and comfortable handling multiple assignments in a dynamic, matrix development environment
|
|
 |
Good teamwork and the ability to deal with change, shares knowledge and pitches in as needed
|
|
 |
Must be detail-oriented, thorough and self-directed
|
|

Duties and Responsibilities:

Development, documentation, and maintenance of cutting edge web-based applications.
|

Providing technical consultation and expertise to Product Managers and other staff members.
|
|
 |
Writing technical and non-technical specifications and the documentation of procedures.
|
|
 |
Reviewing Product requirements, design, code and documentation.
|
Education, Experience and skills:
|
 |
Minimum Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or related field
|
|
 |
Minimum 3 years experience in software or website development; proven experience developing large-scale database-driven applications
|
|
 |
Extensive professional experience programming PERL and knowledge of Object-oriented Perl.
|
|
 |
Expertise with XHTML, and JavaScript client-side scripting
|
|
 |
Professional experience with MySQL or equivalent
|
|
 |
Experience in Unix/Linux use, scripting and tools
|
|
 |
Knowledge of XML, SOAP and AJAX highly desirable
