Mark Lewyn
Chairman of the Board
Mark co-founded Paxfire in 2003 and has been in and around the technology world for more than 20 years. He started his career as a technology reporter, first for the Money Section of USA Today and later for Businessweek Magazine. In the mid-1990s, Mark joined the founding management team of CitySearch.com, later acquired by TicketMaster. At TicketMaster - CitySearch, Mark served in a variety of business development, marketing and content roles. Mark then went on to co-found an e-government software company called EzGov, where he currently serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board. Mark also served as a vice president of Vector Development, a venture capital firm backed by Warburg Pincus and AEA Investors, and Mark currently serves as President of Paxfire. Mark graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in journalism.

Alan Sullivan

Alan has over 20 years of product development experience in the areas of the Internet and network-based products at Xerox, DEC, Apollo Computer, Mennen Medical, NeuLevel Inc., and the .US Registry. Alan has held CEO, CTO, and VP positions at NetNames, Votiv Systems, NameEngine, and the .US Registry. Alan was CEO of Votiv Systems, which he founded in 1997, and the CTO at NameEngine. Alan led the effort to develop the concepts and technology that eventually led to the RegisterFREE.com website and discount domain name registration services. Alan founded and was President of Top Domain Registry Inc. Alan received a BS in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester and a MS in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Massachusetts.

Ron Palmeri

An early Networking, OS and Web services pioneer, Ron is a leading industry visionary for the application of Services Oriented Architectures (SOA) and the On Demand computing model.  Along with Halsey Minor, Ron's mission as Managing Director of Minor Ventures is to partner with the management team of portfolio companies to build great businesses, and to discover and help build the next killer set of companies on the Web. Prior to Minor Ventures, Ron led sales, alliances, corporate development, product and services at various times in the development of Grand Central, and early SOA and on demand pioneer.  Prior to Grand Central, Ron was VP of business development for Oblix, a leading Enterprise Identity and Web Services Management provider acquired by Oracle. Prior to Oblix, Ron was VP of strategic relations for Novell where he developed high profile partnerships, which were then credited at the time with turning around Novell. Ron was also General Manager of the Business Internet Services (Telecom) division and held business development and enterprise and OEM sales management positions at Novell as well as at NYNEX.
